About Our Network

How can we make effective use of human knowledge to respond to the ever-changing environment and needs ? Our goal is

to establish a theoretical framework and

deepen exchanges with countries around the world regarding this framework.

Japan Society for Knowledge Management

The Japan Society for Knowledge Management was founded in February 25, 1998 and continues to this day, but now is the time for research into the use of knowledge. The Society does not simply conduct research, but aims to contribute to society by sharing the results of its research with the world.

Mission and  Vision (enactment date June 6, 2020)

Mission:
To contribute to society by solving social issues through research and practice of knowledge management by mobilizing all human knowledge.

Vision for 2030:
To become an open, dynamically evolving knowledge management platform that brings together individuals and organizations keen to research and practice knowledge management.

Through this knowledge platform, we aim to contribute to solving social issues by synthesizing digital and analog, theory and practice, and Japan and the global.
